Grow into your dominion

I ve just come to realize that most times we(including myself)want to reign just as christ intended for us but we don't want to GROW.a child born into a royal family can never assume his princehood/royal position fully while still in his childhood status but needs to mature to adulthood in other to assume the authority,power,dominance of royalty. Phil 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.that is a potential truth but it doesn't just manifest automatically...we ve to nuture ourselves in christ in other to mature fully so as to experience the reality of that TRUTH. The importance of the WORD can never be over emphasised as far as our spiritual maturity/growth is concerned. Physically,you are a product of what you feed on/nuture your body the same way it applies in the spirit,you are a product of what you feed to your spirit.but the truth is that the efficiency of a WORD nutured spirit is far higher and optimal than a body nutured with 3 square balanced diet meal(pls am not speaking against eating good meal or nuturing your mortal body,of course God was not crazy or out of His mind when he gave you and I a mortal body). The basic truth is that if we refuse to mature/grow/develop in christ coupled with the resources(HIS WORD) provided for us to achieve that,we can never assume our place of dominion/royalty. 1peter2:9 "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" That's is an undisputed truth for every child of God but if I may ask are we living up to that declaration?am I living in the reality of that truth? If yes glory to God,if no,why? The answer is not far fetched.consciously or unconsciously somebody somewhere ve refused to attain maturity in christ.every new born child you see is a potential adult,father,mother e.t.c but in other to live up to that potential,GROWTH is essential.every sincere business mogul you see today have had to pass thru a phase and perhaps still going thru that phase,and what is that phase?GROWTH/MATURITY. Even scientifically GROWTH is one of the fundamental features of LIFE same way it applies to the spiritual life even your spirit. I ve deciced that from today I want to GROW in. Christ in order to assume my dominion inheritance what about you? ....as newborn babe's,desire the sincere milk of the WORD,that ye may GROW....(1 peter. 2:2) Further reading(heb5:12-13) It's in you......... -Michael
